Everyone on YouTube seems to be talking about how much they love this foundation, so I decided to visit my local drugstore to pick this up and give it a try. To sum it all up in one word, this product is SUPERB. As always, everything in this world have their ups and downs and so does this foundation, so let’s start breaking them down, shall we?

The Upside
1.) Keeps The Skin Flawless For More Than 8 Hours
As you may have seen if you have watched my video review, my acne scars remained concealed for more than 9 hours and so did my uneven skin tone using this foundation. Use a “patting and circular” motion with your foundation brush for a more blended and long-lasting effect.
2.) Matches The Skin Color Perfectly
With 22 shades available in this line of foundation, you’d think it would be hard to find the perfect or closest match for your skin color. However, with just one try, the 320 True Beige was my exact color and this doesn’t usually happen (to be honest, I just simply suck with choosing the right shade for me ha!). Use the testers usually available for any make up products and apply a little on your lower cheek or on the neck to help you find your exact match.
3.) Buildable To Your Desired Coverage Level
With up to medium to full coverage, this foundation has a buildable formula so you are able to control your desired coverage level. To avoid cakiness, reapply the product only on problem areas or better yet, use a concealer on top of the foundation to achieve the maximum coverage.
The Downside
1.) Packaging Does Not Come With A Pump
Yes, this foundation is the “screw out, pour and screw in” type. We all know how much of a sucky that can be, especially when you over pour and waste tons of the product. Make sure to shake the bottle first before opening and slowly pour the product on the back of your hand to prevent too much liquid from coming out.
2.) Feels Heavy On The Skin
I mentioned in my video review that the formula did feel lightweight in the beginning, but throughout the day/night, I could feel the product starting to creep in and feel heavier in the skin. This usually happens to most foundation that I have used before and although it claims to provide the lightweight feel, I was a little bit skeptical about it and expected the opposite.
I hope this was helpful and informative for you. If you decide to try it out, don’t forget to let me know what you like and don’t like about it. Thanks for stopping by!
What is your favorite drugstore foundation?
Xox, Camil
I love that it stays on for 8 hours but I don’t think I can get past it feeling heavy on the skin.
Same here! It’s a great foundation for occasional night outs :)
This is my favorite foundation! I have used it off and on for years. I always try new stuff, then come back to this. It’s my holy grail. Nothing I have found yet offers me the coverage that this does.
It’s amazing for such an affordable product! :)
I’m a L’Oreal girl, but this sounds pretty good. I’ve got some freckles & acne scars. Maybe I’ll check it out! Thanks!
Thank you, Mary! I love L’oreal as well, they also have amazing products! :)
I used to use this product, and then switched to a (better in my opinion!) one. If you liked it, try Maybelline dream matte mousse!
I have tried that, which I also have a review on aha! You’re right, it’s a great product as well!
This was a very helpful review. It looks really pretty on your skin, but I would not like that it felt heavier as the day went along. Thanks for the info.
Thank you, Paula! I’ll have to agree with you!
My wife either goes to CVS and buys this or she uses Mary Kay.. Whatever it is it works for her..
I really would LOVE to try Mary Kay products! :)
Thanks so much for this review! I don’t wear makeup alot but when I do I need all the help I can get! There is nothing worse than spending alot on some product then getting home, trying it then realizing it is a waste of money!
You’re absolutely right, Rena! Drugstore make ups are way to go as long as we know which ones work for us :)
Darn, was totally looking for a medium to full coverage foundation that actually stays on, but if it looks cakey or feels heavy, then no thanks!
Thanks for the review.
Thank you, Jenny!
Revlon was always the makeup I wore when I wore drugstore makeup. I’ve always liked their products.
Let me know if you have any other recommendations from their line! :)
I love that it stays on for so long. It’s so hard to find a foundation that does that. I’m going to have to pick this up. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, Hilary!
I really like this one the only problem I had was it oxidizes to fast and looks orange, I also love the maybelline dream matter mousse or MAC.
I’ve tried the mousse and LOVED it as well! ;) Thanks, Maria!
I heard so many good things about Revlon and I’m sure this one is not an exemption. I would really like to try this product. Thanks for the honest review. :)
Your make up is so pretty and so are you. I think I have used revlon in the past but now I am using a pure and natural line of make up especially for foundation. I wish I know how to apply make up like you do.
The coverage of this is excellent, but it feels super heavy on my skin. I find that I get the best natural effect and less heavy feeling with a damp beauty sponge. It does last quite long on my oily skin, but I will not repurchase it again simply because it feels too heavy and unnatural on my skin.
LOL I love your bloopers! You remind me of Jennifer Lopez lol :) I agree that not any people I know wear their foundation for 24 hours, but where I live it is so hot that my make up melts off my face within hours. I will give this a try to see how it works against the heat.
Wow! It actually stays on for 8 hours? I will have to look into this
